About Us
Kidz Unlimited is an exciting place of exploration, growth, fun, and happiness. Our learning programme here reflects our foundational philosophical belief that children should be given encouragement and support to learn and grow in order for all kids in our care to reach their full potential.

We understand that early childhood is a critical stage in every child’s development, and with this in mind we have taken care to create a learning environment which is equal parts both challenging and fun. We don’t think there’s any reason why fun and learning should be mutually exclusive – our programme of both
self-initiated and directed activities have a proven track record of helping our kids grow and develop while ensuring that every day the kids are excited to come and learn and play.

Activities offered at Kidz Unlimited include play-dough, group-time, blocks, water, family play and many more. We also make regular field trips to places such as the zoo, farms and shows.

In general, we believe that listening, observing and providing varied opportunities encourages children to flourish and grow into confident members of our community.
Our Philosophy
At Kidz Unlimited we believe that childhood should be a happy, fun and exciting experience, where children are encouraged to explore the world around them. That is why we have constructed a learning programme to help children reach their full potential and will empower them to learn and grow. We aim to provide an attractive learning environment that is both challenging and fun.
Our Educators are qualified and experienced, they appreciate that every child is unique. This means to meet their individual and holistic needs we will provide a balanced programme of self-initiated and directed activities. To have high quality education and care is paramount at Kidz Unlimited. We feel it is important to use assessment and evaluation as outlined in Te Whariki for the basis of children’s learning.
We believe that listening, observing and providing varied opportunities encourages children to flourish and grow into confident members of our community. This will also support children to become life long learners through their school years and into adulthood. Kidz Unlimited will endeavour to have constant and consistent communication and consultation with our families and Whanau. This process will bring valuable information into the centre that will support children in their learning. To have reciprocal and responsive relationships will support Kidz Unlimited to have a positive partnership with our families.
